Abstract

This Shiny App allows the user to find proteins from mouse, human, both, or all the proteins by name, then it searches the Scopus database for all the papers that reference that protein.  It creates a graph showing the number of times per year it was mentioned, giving the researcher an idea of the timing of the popularity of the protein.  The app will be expanded to include further sources of data on the protein and its gene source.

Credits

The data was downloaded from SciVal API every refresh (live) via http://api.elsevier.com and http://www.scival.com and include Scopus data up to the refresh date.
