Abstract

This tool calculates various physical parameters of Snowball Earth. It is designed for use in a laboratory exercise in EAPS 109Y - The Dynamic Earth. The tool calculates past solar luminosity, emission temperature, ice layer thickness, and light transmissivity through the ice. In each mode, you enter input values on the right side of the window, press "Calculate" and retrieve results from the panel on the right side of the window.
