Purdue WHPC program typically hosts 2-3 meetings every semester featuring invited speakers who present on professional development and/or a variety of topics that align with high performance computing (HPC) and Information Technology (IT) with the goal of introducing our members to the HPC field and to provide access to professional role models that are “real-life” examples of Women in HPC.

Our invited speakers typically share information about their technical/research interests within a diverse set of disciplines and domains, discuss their career path, professional experiences, and provide examples of how they have used HPC/computational resources in their work or research (if applicable). The Women in HPC (WHPC) program welcomes anyone with an interest in our program to attend one of our meetings.
